Reprint of Black History Month Spec Fict

There was a call for speculative fiction with a Black History twist.  I thought about it and decided to do a piece on Nat Turner, specifically what would happen if he found an upper hand for his revolt.  The result was the short story titled, Nat Turner, Necrosis of the Serpent.  It was an intersting thought.  There may be a lot of African American writers who like to play with space and time but they're not receiving the spotlight as they should.  As a culture, we are extremely creative but more importantly, we do look at the world differently because we experience it differently.  I encourage writers of all age to look at our world view and play with it, challenge it, re-craft it, and bring new impressions grounded in truth and innovation.
